Subject: Value life more than promotions in your career-

Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?

You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?

You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.

Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"hi"

You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.

Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

I'll be happy when...

We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that, we're frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, when we are able to go on a nice vacation or when we retire. The truth is there's no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges.

It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with ... and remember that time waits for no one.

So, stop waiting ...
Until your car or home is paid off.
Until you get a new car or home.
Until your kids leave the house.
Until you go back to school.
Until you finish school.
Until you lose 10 lbs.
Until you gain 10 lbs.
Until you get married.
Until you get a divorce.
Until you have kids.
Until you retire.
Until summer..
Until spring.
Until winter.
Until fall.
Until you die.

There is no better time than right now to be happy. Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So work like you don't need money, love like you've never been hurt,
and, dance like no one's watching.

goodbye to you my trusted friend
we ve known each other since we
were nine or ten
together we ve climbed hills and trees
learned of love and abc s
skinned our hearts and
skinned our knees

goodbye my friend it s hard to die
when all the birds are singing
in the sky
now that spring is in the air
pretty girls are everywhere
think of me and i ll be there

we had joy we had fun we had
seasons in the sun
but the hills that we climbed were
just seasons out of time

Socket read fail ... o.k.lah aku mahu pulang ... i'm going to miss her ... should i pour my deepest feeling here ... my fondness towards her ... this is different from love ... maybe flirting? ...

anyway ... audit year 02 and december 02 accounts closed !!! what a relieve ... but have to continue preparing jan 02 accounts ... dang? ... sucks ...

The rest as they said it is history ... :)

What is my excuse for forgetting the important dates? I shall explain why ... here ... maybe later ...

Celebrate new year? why and what for? Just to forget that you'll be a year older and your time on this world is shorter? But most important of all why celebrate when the world is in chaos with war and all that just for sake of controlling resources and getting rich in the process? Or is it just to take a little time off to forget all the despair and depression of thinking about the world condition?

Life episode begins and ends ... up to each person when to decide that it is just beginning or its the end ... for me, it ends when I leave a place whether it is work or living and when somebody that I have been getting used around shall no longer be there ... so I heard that one of my colleague going to leave the team ... in 2002 I have already lost 2 colleague and get 2 new ones which the end and beginning of episodes of life... this year?

OK enough shall continue tomorrow at 09:00AM tomorrow ... everybody else have gone home ... the first to arrive, the last to leave ... come to think of it I usually find myself not enough time to finish my job if I work according to everybody else's time ... sad isn't it ... :(

Welcome New Year (2003) and good bye to yesterday (2002) ... well what most people do on this day all through out the world? Most of them is not at work, I assume; but for me, I am in the category of working on the 1st day of the new year. In fact, I am writing this from my work station!!! This is my 2nd year working on the 1st day of a new year according to my wife since I joined my current company about 1.5 years ago. Am I complaining about working on the 1st day of every new year? Well I am not.
